Changes to Pharmacy ORDERING prescriptions as from 1st Aug 2017-As from 1.8.17 unfortunately you will no longer be able to order your prescription via the Pharmacy and will need to order from us direct.

Requests for repeat prescriptions may be made by handing in the counterfoil in person at the reception desk, by posting it enclosing a stamped addressed envelope, or by faxing to 0115 9622989.
EPS (Electronic Prescribing Service) is now live at this surgery for more information please contact your local pharmacy.Controlled drugs and contraception pills will not be issued by EPS Alternatively you can sign up for patient online and request your prescriptions online click link below for more information or ask your receptionist who will be happy to help.https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk/account/login
New users are required to complete a simple registration prior to using the service, please ask your receptionist for an activation pin.Telephone requests for repeat prescriptions are not accepted.If the hospital changes your medication please inform your doctor immediately as these may not be automatically issued without the GP having received the relevant changes from the hospital. (ie letters or faxes from hospitals)
Please do not send children under 16 to collect the prescriptions.
Medication Reviews-Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications, this will include contraception pill checks a notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Please note your prescription is your responsibility once issued, please keep this safe.
