COVID VACCINATIONS

Bookings are now open as follows:

All patients aged 25 and over, those that are clinically vulnerable and carers can now book their vaccination using the following link:

COVID Vaccination booking link or by calling 119.

We are now using the national booking system so you will see appointments outside of the Nottingham area.  Appointments for the vaccination centres are being opened on a phased basis and are added regularly so if there are none showing locally please try again at a later date/time.

Eligible patients who need assistance (transport) to go to a vaccination centre should call the local support line on 0115 8834640.

Patients who are housebound should have now been contacted to arrange a home visit for a vaccination.

Thank you for your patience

Outside normal surgery hours (evenings, weekends and bank holidays) emergency cover for the practice is provided by NEMS Community Benefit Services Ltd Out of Hours service. The Out of Hours service provides medical care for patients that do not need Emergency Department Care. It is a service that is led by a range of clinical staff such as GPs, Nurses, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Emergency Care Practitioners.

This service is for problems which cannot wait until the next available surgery. You will be required to provide full information about your problem and will be expected if required to attend NEMS (based on Station Street, Nottingham) if necessary. Advice may also be given if attending for a face to face appointment is not deemed to be required.

During out of hours you should contact the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it is not a life threatening situation.

Temporary Registration

If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that practice.

To register as a temporary patient simply contact the local practice you wish to use. Practices do not have to accept you as a temporary patient although they do have an obligation to offer emergency treatment. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered. Please call the surgery for more information.
